Safari Guidelines

Important rules, regulations, and tips for a safe and memorable safari experience in Gir National Park

Safari Timings

Morning Safari

6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Oct-Feb)
6:30 AM to 9:30 AM (Mar-Jun)

Morning safaris offer the best chance to spot lions and other wildlife when they are most active. The cool morning temperatures make animals more mobile.

Evening Safari

3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Oct-Feb)
4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (Mar-Jun)

Evening safaris provide excellent photography opportunities with golden hour lighting. Animals often come to waterholes during this time.

Important Note:

Safari timings may change depending on weather conditions and forest department regulations. Always confirm your safari timing with us before your visit.
