When To Visit Gir National Park
Visiting Gir National Park during the cooler winter months is an ideal choice for wildlife lovers. Right after the monsoon, the forest turns lush and vibrant, offering beautiful views and excellent photography opportunities. The period from October to April is considered the best time to explore Gir, as the pleasant weather and clear visibility greatly increase the chances of spotting Asiatic lions and other wildlife during your safari.
Gir National Park is a picturesque wildlife haven and It Remains Open For Tourism From October To June Each year. The park stays closed during the monsoon due to heavy rainfall and safety reasons. If you're planning a visit, make sure to book your safari at least 1 month in advance to secure your preferred zone, time slot, and safari type.
